2 November to 10 Nov – Pre-Production – Health and Safety
- Complete risk assessment form
S – Individually i will complete the risk assessment form depending on what work I am producing
M – This will be measured by us posting a filled out form on the blog
A – This is achievable because it’s a necessary part of our safety and production
R – This is a reasonable task because it is a necessary part of our safety and production
T – 1 hour
16 November to 23 November – Story Board
- Use test shots to evolve story board ideas
S – we will create test shots of the scene and to test lighting and space that we will use within our story board to evolve and visualise our ideas
M – This will be measured by our pictures that we have taken will be placed in the storyboard
A – This is an achievable task because we will have already taken the images so it will just help visualise the video
R – This is reasonable because we have already taken the images and therefore will help visualise the storyboard
T – 4 hours
- Create a rough visual shot of the scene, props every few frames
S – We will take a rough shot of the scene and props every few frames to create a rough stop motion
M- This will be measured by creating a rough stop motion and putting the images on the blog
A – This is an achievable target because it will help us develop the story line of our video
R – This is a reasonable target because it will help us develop the story line of our video and therefore plan it more thoroughly
T – 2 days
- Write short description of each frame and technique used
S – We will use the frames that we have taken before of the sence and write a short description of the frame and technique used
M – This will be measured by having each image on the blog with the description underneath
A- this is an achievable target because it is just deciding the image and what we have done to create it
R – this is a reasonable target because it means that we know exactly how we created each frame
T – 6 hours
30 November to 9 Feb – Production
- Create schedule on shooting days to ensure that work is completed on time
S – We will create a schedule/ timetable for each day that we shoot to ensure that the work will be completed
M – this will be measured by having the timetables scanned into the computer and posted on the blog
A – this is an achievable target because we will be planning our time for the day
R – this is a reasonable target because we need to plan our time to ensure that the whole video is ready to be edited
T – 30 minutes
- Put camera on a tripod to ensure no camera movement
S – We will use a tripod when taking the photographs for the stop motion video to ensure that there is no camera movement and obtain continuity
M – this will be measured by all the frames being in the same place
A – This is an achievable task because i already own a tripod
R – This is a reasonable task because then we don’t have to hold the camera for a long period of time and also it will ensure continuity
T – 2 minutes
- Make sure the set stays the same for continuity purposes
S – We will not move any of the props to ensure continuity in our frames
M- this is a measurable target because all of the frames will show continuity
A – This is an achievable target because we wont move any of the props
R – This is a reasonable target because we need to show continuity and therefore produce a better stop motion
T – This will take as long as it takes for the video to be produced
- Create CD cover and promotion magazine page – using similar images to show continuity
S – We will create a CD cover and Promotion page for the CD in magazine
M – This will be measured by having our final pieces, a CD cover and Magazine page
A – This is achievable because we would have done the research and know what we have to do and how to do it
R – This is a reasonable task because it is part of the whole project
T – 4 days
9 Feb to 9 March – Post production Editing
- Ensure we edit a certain amount of frames per day (depending on how many the video takes) so it is completed on time
S – Ensure we edit a certain amount of frames per day (depending on how many the video takes) so it is completed on time
M- this will be measured by completing a percentage of the footage each day
A – this is achievable if we set a reasonable amount to have edited each day
R – This is a reasonable task so that we can make sure our stop motion is finished
T – 4 weeks
23 March – Evaluation
- Create plan for evaluation
S – We will create a plan for my evaluation
M- This will be measured by it being posted on the blog and having a structured evaluation
A – this is achievable because it is just a rough version of our evaluation
R – This is reasonable so that we can have a good structured evaluation and it contain all of the information and terminology needed
T – 2 hours
- Write in total around 3000 words ,Use Media terminology
S – Write the evaluation, it should be around 3000 words and use all the of the media terminology needed
M – This will be measured by being posed on the blog and having a screen shot of the word count
A – This is achievable because we have written an in-depth plan and therefore should already know what to write
R – This is reasonable because it is a large part of the project and needed to explain my work
T- 7hours
31 March – Final deadline
