look at all this wonderful stuff….

Today I completed my magazine advertisement. I used my previous research on magazine adverts to work out what to write on it. I only put on the necessary information such as Artist name, CD name and when its out. I used the font ‘Seans hand’ from www.dafont.com that we had decided on in the previous lesson so that they are similar and have a house style.

I used white text so that it showed up easily and clearly on the dark background. I also repeated the artist name small in black so that it shows emphasis on the name and therefore easier and more likely that viewer will remember it.

I also created this same advertisement but using a photograph of the person we will be using for our video. This then shows some continuity between people and also we will be using our own photographs for our CD cover and Advertisement rather than use someone’s picture of Jack Penate.

This advertisement uses the same font and layout as the one above because we decided that it worked well. The only thing I have changed is the photographs. I selected small squares from a photograph of our actor and placed them over the pictures on the advertisement above. I have no finished editing this advertisement because it is only one design that we are working on. To complete this I need to rub out the areas of the photographs that over lap so that it looks more like a pile of Polaroids.
